Thanks for this opportunity.

With so many people covering the better-publicized (and more urgently vital) forms of abuse, I indulged in discussing a sort of passive abuse, or destructive indifference as my topic.

I’m glad that so many people made an effort to focus attention on some form of abuse: and that BlogCatalog allowed us to focus on something that we gave a rip about, personally.

Again, thanks!

I hate the word ABUSE. It’s ruined so many humans and animals lives. Thank you for giving us a place in the Blogosphere where we can drag out this awful word from the darkness and allow it to be seen in the light.

This was a really nice post, and I enjoyed reading everyone’s post that was linked in. It was really great to participate also - motivating and empowering, and I definitely learned a lot as well. I’m also glad that it made me aware of BlogCatalog, and I’ll look forward to participating again in the future!

We all only have this one life, and we all must do out utmost to make the best life possible for ourselves, our children, our families, and those closest to us, our neighborhoods, our society, our world. I long for the so-called good ol days when children could play outside without fear of being snatched away by a pedophile, or shot dead over a pair of shoes, beaten within an inch of life over a bike. It was my privledge to participate in this venture. I hope we all will take away from this the need to always keep aware that even if in our own personal lives we have peace and serenity, we never know what goes on behind closed doors. Someone we all know and care about is being abused at this very moment.

Imagine if everyone took care of one other person. Never had to worry about themselves because they too were being taken care of by one other person. There would be no need for selfish acts since all your needs would be met. You could just focus on keeping the circle of goodwill intact. Thank you for helping us join forces.
