Bloggers Unite for Refugees Badges

Its a good deed.. Even I would love to join in this..

We just added the badge over on my site and I am so thrilled to be a part of this community effort. Since the site is for freelancers we also posted an awareness post in order to help get the work out there to other folks who may write blogs.

Sadly the idea of "refugee" has been around long before even the ancient Hawaian cultures. With continued awareness and diligence may we someday create a world where the idea of "refugee" is extinct.

I just bumped into this also I visit BC regularly. Just in time to place a badge on my blog. I've always participated to Bloggers Unite, even if I did not write an article each time, the badge was there, showing my support.

I am going to blog about the Palestinian refugee camp. Many Palestinians have been in these camps for over 60 years. Imagine being born in a camp, living in it, and dying in a camp. Unfortunately no one pays that much attention to the Palestinian issues.

This is the least we can do!
Creating awarness is of paramount importance as refugees are our fogotten people.

I'm in. It's such a wonderful cause. One can only imagine the hard life that follows a refugee.

I feel honored to be a part of this mission ... afterall my ancestors have also undergone the agony of Bangladesh partition. I will share my own story in the form of a blog post.

It's a very pitiful attempt for such a serious human induced atrocity. Not to mention how abhorrently pitiful the notion that awareness must be raised is....but, it is an "attempt" and I suppose the effort must be appreciated despite how weak it is.

Great idea! I have known a number of refugees, including those from World War II, all the way up to recent events that continue to produce them. I'm happy to be a part of this worldwide effort.
